The Search Tool for DataEase was created by ComputerWizard Computing. It is a stand-alone Windows-based utility that searches through a DataEase application (database) for any string supplied by you, and report where and how often it’s found.

Search Tool searches forms, reports, DQLs (and associated data-entry forms), relationships, menus and report specifications. You can select which combination of categories to search.

Search Tool searches DataEase for DOS v4.53, DataEase for DOS 5.xx, and DataEase for Windows!!!

Please note that Search Tool is intended for developers, not the end-user!

Results of the search are displayed on-screen for you to review (the registered version includes printing).

To install Search Tool:

  1. Download wizsrchd.zip
  2. Create a directory.
  3. Unzip the file into the directory.
